Manicure: Protect Hands And Finger Nails, Nail Health

Nails give a very visible and significant impression to hands. So for hands to look their best, nails need to be clean and well-cared for. A proper and regular manicure can keep them in good and healthy condition and it takes only half an hour practice. It you do not have enough time, you just simply buff nails with a chamois polishes to give them a natural, healthy shine. Use a nourishing and protective hand cream every day. Do not let them dry. After washing your hands, dry them properly and gently and after that apply any good hand cream on them according to the nature of your hands.
These are some steps which are taken usually is this regard.
1. First of all remove all traces of old polish using on acetone-free remover and cotton wool because it is very necessary for the health of the nails they need oxygen as well, which they can lose in case of nail polish.
2. Then file nails into shape and always file them from one edge of the nail to the center and then from the other edge to the center. Always use long smooth strokes. File top of the nail slightly and mildly if they are in too much pointed shape.
3. Take a bowl of soap water in which mix a few drops of lemon juice and olive oil. Then soak your hands in it. This will clean and soften your hands at the same time. Dry completely your hands and clean away your nails with an orange stick.
4. Press and push back nails mildly with orange stick tipped with a cotton bud. You can also brush on your nails.
5. If you want to use nail polish then lay your hands on a flat surface and apply base coat to prevent the nails from staining. This allows nail colour to be applied more smoothly.
6. Now you can apply nail polish, starting with one brush strock in the middle of the nail and then one on each side. When dry, apply a second coat in the same way. Clear away any blobs with an orange stick tipped with cotton bud.

Tip:- calcium, protein, dairy products, pulses, leafy green vegetables and dried fruit are all rich sources for the healthy and shiny growth of nails.
